My name is Keitha Horn. My husband, Mark, myself and our children live about 3 miles from the lake on a beautiful 67 1/2 acre farm 40 miles north of Springfield, MO. Blue Ridge Weimaraners is family owned and operated. We are state and USDA licensed, in good standing with AKC, and have had inspections from all three in the past few months where we have received perfect reports from each. We are also proud members of Missouri Pet Breeders (MPBA).
Running our kennel is a full time job that requires the whole family's participation. I work part time as a Registered Nurse doing pediatric home health nursing. After working as a flight nurse for Cox Air Care full time for 13 years, I decided that it was time to slow down a little. My husband is self employed doing fencing and tree trimming. We are also a licensed medical foster home. Three of our wonderful children we adopted to add to our own 3 children that we already had. We have to be able to trust ALL of our dogs with our children and that is the main reason that we have decided to raise ONLY these beautiful & smart dogs.
